Assistant Property Manager needed for a conventional Darby apartment community located in Mt. Pleasant. The best applicant will have PM experience, hotel/motel/resort experience and/or customer sales/service experience. Additionally, the most desirable applicant will have an outgoing and positive demeanor, capable of communicating with customers, determining their needs, and then demonstrating our community as the solution to those needs--with a good degree of success. Again, positive, friendly applicants only need apply. This is a sales and service oriented role, with a good part administrative as well, and we will be evaluating for transferrable skills and accommodating/outgoing personality.
To fully assess applicants, thereby ensuring you the best team of co-workers, we require: the submission of a valid driver's license; the completion of a job application; and the submission of and positive results from employment references from previous supervisors and a credit check from one of the national repositories. Should a conditional job offer be made to you, you would then be required to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening; successfully pass a criminal background check; and successfully pass a driving history evaluation.
You would be required to gain your Property Manager license within the first 90 days of your employment with us--if you do not already have this license. If you have a sales license, it will not meet our requirements. You would need to obtain a PM license instead. (We do have a program which covers these educational costs.) We also have a Career Apparel program, which financially assists you in the creation of a suitable wardrobe for this position; as we are a reserved group that likes to display what we attempt to convey--the Darby Difference!
