The Role. As our Performance Manager-Sales you will be expected to be an active member of the Alliance team by administering training for the Division. Assist in aspects of Associate development and property success through appropriate training and follow up. Be a constant advocate for, and visible representative of Alliance Residential's goal to be The Best Property Management Company in the nation. This position requires a high energy, creative person with strong communication and verbal skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and willing to travel. Responsible for implementing solid sales training and in-person coaching support to improve sales teams' effectiveness with a specialization in lease-ups.
The Key Responsibilities.
Demonstrates the sales process and knowledge of the customer's needs through frequent field visits.
Schedules virtual and in-person coaching sessions under the direction of the National Director of Learning and Performance or Regional Performance Director.
Maintains coaching records to identify sales strengths, weaknesses and areas of ongoing sales behavioral skills development for specific teams and associates as needed.
Participates in weekly department meetings shares leasing best practices and ideas with entire training team.
Will deliver virtual and in-person sales related lesson plans/training modules developed by Alliance.
Will be asked to participate in curriculum development and provide feedback.
Consult with Development and Operations to gain understanding of training needs through formal analysis, performance program reports, focus groups and/or direct interaction.
Work with Performance Department to provide formal and informal recognition programs for sales associates and teams.
Provides feedback from the field about Alliance programs and systems Proactively identify challenges to the sales process, training and operational policies. Present recommended options for resolution to National Director of Training. Interface with other customer contact departments to coordinate resolution and achieve efficiencies.
Assists with and attends local cultural events that have an impact on associates. Some of these might include, but are not limited to, motivators, prize patrols, local industry-specific events, and other training opportunities.
Review quality assurance tools such as call analysis, mystery shops and prospect surveys for effectiveness. Make recommendations for adjustments to scoring rubric and performance metrics as needed.
Review sales and industry related journals to stay current on competitors and industry related information.
Attend approved trainer development sessions as directed.

Training experience strongly preferred
Previous experience in property management industry helpful
BA in a related Business or Hospitality field preferred
