As the Cash Manager you will direct Cash Management operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts and bank relations.
Ultimately, the Cash Manager has direct contact with the corporate office, national accountants and regional offices. Job responsibilities will vary and may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Specific tasks for this position will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the opening and management of property bank accounts.
Manage the processing of Wires and ACHs as requested.
Monitor cash transactions to ensure completion and investigate any unusual items.
Review, approve and post journal entry support for cash transactions.
Monitor key company bank account balances.
Assist in the reconciliation key bank accounts.
Manage the Company’s Petty Cash Card program.
Review all supporting documents relating to cash management activity.
Supervise one Treasury Assistant
Ideally the candidate would possess the following qualifications:
At least 3 years’ experience in Cash Management.
Have a good understanding of basic accounting.
Experience in Commercial or Multifamily property management operations.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel & Word.
Working knowledge of Property Management software such as Yardi or Realpage.
Working knowledge of Accounting software, such as SAP, JDE or Oracle.
Have high ethical character.
Possess strong management skills (organization and time), able to multi-task and be very detail oriented.
Committed to high standards of customer service with clients and Company associates.
