PointCentral, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking an Implementation Manager to join our Sales Operations team. This position will be responsible for delivering projects related to new client onboarding and system installations primarily in the multifamily vertical. The Implementation Manager is critical to the initial partner experience as he/she will take ownership of short and long-term projects to plan and control project deliverables such as client software configuration, coordination and supervision of procurement and system installations, and training. This role with work with both clients and third-party vendors to ensure that solutions are delivered according to the sales specification and ready for daily use. The ideal candidate will be well versed in technology, process-driven but adaptable to changes in a dynamic environment, methodical in his/her approach to problem solving, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be able to coordinate actionable items across multiple departments and organizations.
The Implementation Manager’s primary job responsibilities will include:
Acting as primary liaison between customer and third-party vendors during project deployment
Creating, managing, and updating project schedule and installation checklist
Coordinating with internal supply chain on procurement timelines and ensuring correct hardware is at the project location(s) for installation
Securing third-party vendors and supervising their activities to ensure timely and accurate installation of systems
Managing and navigating risks to implementation schedules
Providing status updates and alternative solutions for risk scenarios to internal and external stakeholders
Managing ongoing and long-term deliverables around recurring system installations, occupancy changes, and community team training.
B.S. or B.A. degree preferred
3+ years work experience in project management, technical support, and/or sales
Experience in the multifamily property management industry preferred
The ability to communicate with customers and vendors, both in writing and verbally in a clear, professional manner
Interest in dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environments and an ability to quickly adapt to changes and project definitions
A highly motivated self-starter who is able to operate independently
Excellent people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition – candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
IT proficiency as well as competence in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Smartsheets, Salesforce.com, or project management software is a plus
Ability to travel up to 20%
