As our National Maintenance Trainer, you will be expected to be an active member of the Alliance Performance Training team by developing, presenting, and coordinating for Service Team Members. See that all aspects of Service Associate development and property success are met through appropriate training and follow up. Be a constant advocate for, and visible representative of Alliance Residential's goal to be The Best Property Management Company in the nation.
The Key Responsibilities:
Discern with Regional Managers, Vice Presidents, Director of Facilities, and the Asset Management Department the training for Service Associate Team Members. Develop and present comprehensive training and other materials using word processing and computer graphics software including periodic updating of materials as necessary.
Facilitate on-board training courses through the use of an online learning environment.
Devise necessary programs and update training materials to meet the needs of the division. All programs to be coordinated and common with other divisions of the company.
Develop and monitor 3rd party Mystery Shop program. The Mystery Shops are to be coordinated with Regional Managers. Based upon the score, the Service Performance Director may need to schedule a one-on-one coaching session with the Associate. These sessions should be coordinated with the Associate's Service Supervisor (and Regional Manager where appropriate).
Attend all scheduled weekly conference calls with the Vice Presidents and Regional Managers discussing specific properties, to report on training, discuss needs and personnel as requested by Regional Managers and Vice President.
Monitor Maintenance KPIs and performance of Service Teams. When necessary, the Service Performance Director will utilize one-on-one coaching sessions to review KPIs and/or performance issues. These coaching sessions and the development of coaching plans should be coordinated with the Associate's Service Supervisor (and Regional Manager where appropriate).
Remain current on industry trends, compliance, and best practices in the facility maintenance and training industries by conducting research and maintaining contacts with trainers, vendors, and other professionals from other transit agencies.
Perform the duties of a Service Supervisor as detailed in the job description, as required.
Assist Service Team members, the Asset Management Department, and the other Regional Performance Directors by providing requested information or assistance as needed.
Maintain high quality representation of Alliance while adhering to a reasonable budget.
On-going knowledge of adult learning and synchronous online principles.
Knowledgeable of safe work practices.
Knowledgeable of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups (including principles of adult learning), and measurement of training effects.
Able to demonstrated the knowledge of operational characteristics, features and systems of a multi-family property
Possess advanced training skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
