As our Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper, you will contribute to the success of the organization by managing and controlling cash flow through timely reimbursement of receivables and by limiting liability to Alliance through tracking, analysis, reconciliation and timely processing of accounts receivable.
Manage the monthly creation and tracking either thru Salesforce or Job Cost production Management software.
Audit of final invoices from the Job Cost Production software.
Preparation of Accounts Receivable billing.
Preparation of upload files of all relevant A/R reimbursements to the General Ledger.
Assist with Collections monthly with follow-up to Controller/Accounts Receivable Manager of any uncollected receivables.
Assist in processing Department A/P invoices with proper coding and approvals.
Assist in Departmental reports monthly. Track invoices in Salesforce/Production Management System by project.
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and maintain effective internal controls.
Make recommendations and modifications regarding office performance, business needs, etc.
Any other duties assigned or directed.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable and bookkeeping policies and procedures to Balance Sheet.
High level of proficiency in Excel with the ability to build and link multiple spreadsheets.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Good verbal, written communication and listening skills.
High degree of responsibility and initiative and desire to advance beyond this position.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates.
Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work a schedule that may include hours other than 8-5 Monday through Friday, including overtime, depending on business needs.
Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software.
Typing and data entry skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems.
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor or Associates in Finance, Accounting, or related field
