The Role. The Customer Services Representative contributes to the success of the organization by creating, implementing, managing and growing the customer services department. This department will begin with In-House Receivables to assist in increasing recovery on former resident balances. Also, this position will require overseeing and managing 3rd Party Collection Company(s) including setting quarterly goals and implementing recovery campaigns.
The Key Responsibilities.
Create In-House Receivables policies and processes.
Implement and monitor Alliance In-House Receivables Services.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Manage 3rd party collection company recovery and campaigns.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, practices, work procedures and instructions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Research, create and implement future Customer Service Department Services to add value to the organization and community's bottom line.
Strong technical ability, including a good understanding of financial system.
Solid knowledge of Yardi.
Comprehensive knowledge of Alliance policies and procedures.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently.
High degree of responsibility and initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates and owner contacts.

BA/BS degree in a business related field
Minimum two years of experience in the property management industry and working with Yardi
Minimum two years of experience in customer service and/or collections industry
