The Role. As our District Manager you will be expected to manage a portfolio of residential assets. This position's responsibilities will include hiring and training of on-site staff, development of marketing plans, negotiation and supervision of vendor contracts, preparation of annual budgets and management plans and administration of a small regional office.
The Key Responsibilities.
Manage the properties for which responsible in the most efficient and profitable manner possible, given the existing market conditions, as well as creating the greatest possible satisfaction and well-being of all other individuals associated with the property; both employees and residents, consistent with the goals and objectives of the company and owner.
Achieve the highest possible net operating income through the implementation of effective cost control, revenue maximization and delinquency management position.
Work with owners to identify property goals and objectives.
Work with Business Managers on yearly operating budgets and sales/marketing plans.
Effectively maximize rental income which will result in high occupancy and competitive pricing through the leasing staff and personal efforts.
Ensure all required weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Train and motivate Associates to achieve sales goals.
Maintain thorough product knowledge on all properties and that of major competition through site visits and market research.
Ensure that the established policies and procedures are within the Company's policies.
Possess advanced bookkeeping knowledge and perform general accounting functions
Understanding of current legal responsibilities of the properties
Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail

A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in property management or related field
