Continental Properties Company, Inc. is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as the Director of Service and Quality for our portfolio of Springs apartments. This position will be based out of our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (Metro Milwaukee). We are interested in considering candidates outside of Wisconsin, and relocation assistance will be provided.
This position works closely with our entire multifamily operations team to facilitate a variety of activities associated with maintenance support, asset preservation, and risk management for our Springs portfolio. You will directly impact the success of new communities through our “Strong Start” program by ensuring maintenance team members are trained effectively and equipped with the tools critical to success, while minimizing our exposure to risk.
What you will do:
Travel across the country, providing oversight for and support to the successful maintenance operations at our Springs communities
Oversee, implement, and manage maintenance-related programs and procedures, to include the vendor compliance and approval process
Ensure the integrity and preservation of our Springs communities; develop, execute, and manage preventative maintenance and capital project initiatives
Establish, reinforce, and motivate maintenance team members to achieve expectations and deliver top-notch customer service
Provide support, training and guidance to our Maintenance Supervisors, Property Managers, Area Managers and Directors of Property Management on area of expertise
What we need:
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to foster productive work relationships while working at a distance
Unmatched passion for the work and industry and dedication to providing the highest levels of customer service
Five (5) years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience and at least two (2) years of supervisory or training experience
Able to travel 50% of the time and work a nontraditional work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
A two or four year degree preferred
Experience with OneSite, Ops Technology, and Compliance Depot; creating and managing capital budgets; training and developing maintenance teams
