Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends. Provide strong analytical and reasoning skills to explore current and past financial data and performance. Also, to efficiently and effectively deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service according to Lincoln Military Housing’s quality service and customer satisfaction standards.
Active Support to Regional Vice President
Ability to work on Special Projects (operational, financial data requests, bond insurer reviews, etc.)
Self-motivated and capable of independent financial inquiry
Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
Ability to work productively with various project teams (Construction Management, Property Management, Asset Management, Executive and Accounting) and fellow team members
Compile, Analyze and Write Flash Reports (monthly reporting)
Analyze Rent Surveys
Financial Variance Review and Analysis, identifying trends in financial performance
Participate in all Financial Review Meetings
Participate Capex walks, taking notes, completing reports and reviewing recommendations
Evaluate current capital expenditures and audit construction partner expenditure expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets and funding sources
Assists with other general office duties, special projects and assignments as needed.
Performs various administrative and computer tasks, email communications, input of information / data into various software and information systems ( Excel, Yardi, and other company-related systems)
Participate in and attend various department or regional meetings
Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment, Fair Housing and LMH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
Position requires 3 – 5 years of residential property management or customer service role preferred.
Four year or Associate Degree preferred
