Weidner Apartment Homes is currently searching for an experienced Property Management Recruiter based out of our corporate office in Kirkland, Washington.
The National Recruiter is the first person within Weidner to create a connection with each candidate. This connection is vital to ensure we build strong relationships throughout the company and also during the recruitment process. The National Recruiter utilizes strong intuition in order to bring top talent to our company. This talent will help support our residents, communities and our company as a whole. The National Recruiter is always ready for a new challenge and they are passionate about the value of every person they interact with.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the candidate recruitment and hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating and making recommendations for hire. This Recruiter will work directly with Regional and Area Directors, Administrative Staff and other department supervisors to understand the positions needed in each of our regions. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Searching for potential candidate for each open position
Review and screen all incoming resumes for all job openings daily
Schedule and conduct thorough prescreening phone interviews
Conduct in-person interviews for selected job applicants
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers
Actively recruit passive candidates
Actively utilize social media sites to recruit
Help with job fairs when needed
Primary emphasis on filling current open and budgeted positions
Assist with updating Application Tracking Systems
Run candidate background checks.
3-5+ years of strong recruiting experience preferably with a property management focus.
Able to recruit for a high volume of requisitions per month simultaneously
Must work with a sense of urgency and multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy environment
Knowledge and experience with Application Tracking Systems & CRM Programs
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Sharp and thorough interview skills
Familiarity with social networking
Must be proficient in working with all levels of management
Must be able to travel
Multi-Family Property Management experience is a big plus
