The Software Support Specialist works with accounting software & provides in-house support for multiple assigned software applications while providing computer support for the organization. They are also the acting liaison to IT.
This role requires the you to be highly responsive, productive, customer service driven and professional while working as an individual contributor and a part of a team. College Degree Required.

Scope of Responsibilities
Maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software systems.
Provide support resolution via ticketing system, email, phone and other electronic mediums.
Provide level 1 support for all assigned software application including but not limited to the Yardi platform.
Maintain database integrity and security by providing user provisioning, password changes, and the termination of user access.
Take ownership of customer requests by prioritizing and routing appropriately and in a timely manner.
Uses analytical and problem-solving ability to work through the complexity of an issue to get to the root of and resolve a problem.
Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Acts as liaison between the IT department and vendors.
Trains users and fellow coworkers on software and limited hardware as needed to resolve cases.
Other duties as assigned.
Strong verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate effectively to a nontechnical client base.
Strong and demonstrable customer service background, including interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate to others.
Proficiency in Yardi 7s.
Strong problem solving, analytic, and research skills.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of IT systems or software including the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Demonstrated ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Team oriented individual with the ability to work independently.
Must be willing to adapt in a diversified team environment.
Basic understanding of relational databases preferred.
Understanding basic accounting principles related to Yardi or software databases.
Education / Experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Mid-size to large size company experience desired.
Minimum of 2-year end-user IT Support experience preferred.
