The Marketing Manager operates as a project manager and marketing specialist. The position is responsible for creation, development and administration of advertising and marketing materials for stabilized and new development communities while supporting Camden's brand. Included is the management of Camden s internal Customer Sentiment and Customer Experience, Camden s reputation management platform, overseeing all survey related needs, and the ability to create meaningful and useful educational training for all marketing needs. This candidate will lead a team of volunteer bloggers to create apartment-focused content to drive traffic to Camden s website and mastermind Camden s social media presence on all channels to further Camden s brand awareness. This encompasses facilitating the design and development of advertising and promotional materials; implementing corporate identity guidelines to ensure quality control; assessing, organizing and managing marketing projects; inventory control of collateral materials and the integration of this function throughout the company.
Maintain established corporate identity standards, in all print and electronic marketing pieces used by the communities for internal and external communications, i. e. advertising, promotional, and collateral materials, etc.
Manage the design and production of artwork through final layouts, including collateral, campaign development, brochures, and other community materials as required, adhering to established brand guidelines.
Provide tools to attract, engage, retain and better understand Camden s customers.
Lead a team of 40+ bloggers to create apartment-focused content to drive traffic to Camden s website, raise brand awareness and provide relevant content for social media.
Work to perfect the brand and improve the customer experience.
Oversee the eMarketing site including the advertising and promotional materials designed for the site, the site s content and the enhancement of the site s functionality.
Administer the daily support required for surveys, reputation management and internal sites to include the CSS Dashboard and The Hub.
Manage the Marketing Production Coordinator who is accountable for design, Snapchat and The Hub.
Manage the Social Media Specialist who is accountable for daily survey and online reputation activities as well as all social media channels.
Responsible for maintaining stock image library (Graphics Library).
Support the marketing needs of new development sites as required.
Coordinate with an outside vender to establish and maintain a forms management program to ensure economies of scale, timely fulfillment, quality control of internal forms, collateral pieces and all other appropriate materials.
Remain informed of trends in the apartment industry and in the field of advertising, social media, reputation management and graphic design.
Oversee the relationship with multiple graphic design agencies, vendors and works closely with internal departments to support them in their marketing needs.
Attends professional development programs as required by the VP of Marketing.
Participate in departmental conference calls, meetings, and functions as required by the VP of Marketing.
Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of relationships with key venders.
Prepared to step out of assigned role from time to time, for special projects.
Represent the company in a professional manner both internally and externally.
Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
Marketing or Advertising related position for a minimum of five years overseeing advertising and production; Minimum of three years experience within Multifamily industry.
Exceptional writing and oral communication skills (writing samples are required). Your writing will compel our customers to choose Camden.
Skilled in design and execution of advertising, promotional and collateral materials.
Excellent project management skills and great attention to detail.
Exceptional negotiation talents specific to the advertising and printing industry.
Print production, pre-press large format output, digital printing and photography experience required.
Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Requires proficiency with computers, MS Office (including databases), and on the following graphic design software programs: Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Experience supervising one or more employees.

Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i. e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
