Position Summary: The Acquisitions Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and organizing the acquisition team with a variety of administrative functions. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates and organizes potential acquisitions through brokered, off-market opportunities and recapitalizations.
Provides professional, pro-active, and ongoing support to managers, employees, department staff and customers Answering incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette, directing callers to appropriate person or transferring to voicemail as needed.
Prepares and distributes regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reports as required
Responsible for managing and coordinating the initial acquisition recordkeeping in the Sales Force information system.
Assists appropriate department members with maintaining Sales Force, market research/demographics, submarket trends/reports, property specific information as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in administration
Ability to support multiple members and projects simultaneously
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to travel up to 10%
A valid driver's license may be required
Sound judgment relative to communication, prioritization, scheduling and customers
Ability to maintain confidentiality in work assigned
Proficient technology/computer skills; MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to details, organizational/multi-tasking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
