A Day in the Life:
The Treasury Management Service Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely completion of day to day treasury activities for the Treasury function which includes reconciling bank accounts, system administrator for online banking access, and set-up fraud tools services.
The Treasury Management Service Specialist works closely with Transitions, RM s, Banks, clients, Yardi Support, AP and Property accounting teams. The Treasury Management Service Specialist plays an active role on the Finance and Corporate Accounting team.
What You ll Do:
Treasury Services (80%)
Maintains the data base that includes active bank accounts with fraud tool services status and requirements
Works closely with Yardi Support, IT and AP Departments to ensure check positive pay exceptions are verified and kept to less than 1% monthly.
To research all and any exceptions and determine if it is a system error vs a true exception.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients and bank representatives, including problem solving issues, responding to inquires both verbally and in writing and maintaining documentation of all customer contact.
Provides login credentials and bank account access to new users and update existing user profiles when requested by the accounting team.
Preparing and maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Check Positive Pay, ACH Positive Pay and User entitlements.
Cash Management (20%)
Responsible for opening bank accounts with established financial institutions.
Support with establishing new banking relationship. Assist with all documents required by the banks / FINCEN, KYC regulations
What You ll Need to Succeed:
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
One to two years of banking and treasury management services ( TMS )
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Previous experience with cash and accrual accounting
Working knowledge of GAAP, and local accounting rules, policies and requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal customers, bank representatives and clients at all levels within the organization.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work requirements, multiple deadlines and competing demands

Demonstrates effective time management skills, and an outstanding ability to track and organize multiple tasks.

Ability to work during normal work hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) as well as evenings and weekends.
