The Executive Assistant will manage a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This position is responsible for managing the Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP) heavy schedule and communications. The Executive Assistant will interact with team members at all levels in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. This position must operate with a high level of professionalism, decision-making ability, and confidentiality.
Arrange all the SVP s travel to include flights, hotel, and ground transportation.
Manage and support the SVP s involvement in various networking and industry groups.
Prepare handout materials and/or slideshows for internal and external presentations.
Provide customer service to residents.
Create and manage the annual departmental budget for the SVP.
Manage department expenses.
Organizing bi-weekly team meetings/conference calls, taking notes and managing the to-do s to completion.
Act as a liaison between Camden s five (5) Senior Regional Coordinators and Camden s support departments, ensuring each team has what they need to complete projects, etc.
Support or help organize the various events in each of Camden s five regions across the US.
Manage the various monthly and quarterly bonus programs for all property operations management personnel and onsite teams, to insure bonuses are calculated accurately, then approved and paid on time.
Support the various initiatives of Camden s service teams. Sit on committees when asked to, for input from the Operations Team.
Support the Director of Maintenance Services, helping with travel, document preparation, etc.
Organize various team meetings and large events, preparing agendas, securing meeting space, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and planning meals.
Bachelor s degree preferred
5 years of experience at senior administrative level required
Knowledge of the multi-family industry is preferred
Must be highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
