A Day in the Life:
As our Business Development Manager you will be an integral part of our team by supporting a portfolio of luxury communities through a variety of financial analysis. You will be expected to provide timely reports on economic trends, financial modeling, including (DSCRs, IRR, NPV, WACC, etc), create plans to maximize total returns for each asset through property analysis and lead due diligence efforts for third party management and acquisition takeovers. Strong analytic skills along with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates, owners and clients are the keys to your success.
What You ll Do:
Using financial modeling to underwrite potential property acquisitions. Excellent understanding of financial terms and uses when evaluating real estate investments. Understanding different financial evaluation methods to value real estate properties (such as IRRs, NPVs, WACCs, etc.) Create performance reports from Yardi, LRO etc. measuring property performance against submarket and metro area markets, REITs, and other competitors Responsible for research and gathering data on macro/micro economic conditions for MSA/Submarkets Assist with maximizing total returns for each asset through property analysis to improve performance Assist with the review of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to maintain effective internal controls Lead due diligence efforts for third party management and acquisition takeovers while facilitated through corporate office Assist strategic market analysis to identified potential new business and investment. opportunities for existing and proposed projects
What You ll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Economics
Experience in multi-family, commercial real estate, fund management, or real estate research is a plus
Excellent analytical skills
Intimate knowledge of finance and accounting
High degree of proficiency with Excel (including pivot tables, macros, etc.
Effective organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Accurate and detail oriented
High degree of confidentiality and integrity
High degree of responsibility and initiative
