The Employee Benefits Administrator role is accountable for performing a variety of functions associated with the Camden s employee health and welfare benefits and various supplemental benefit programs for our employees and their dependents to support Camden s overall mission.
Administers various employee benefits programs, including, but not limited to, Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident and Disability programs, as well as Section 125 and Health Savings Accounts.
Assists employees with their on-line benefit enrollments and life event changes as well as monitor and process enrollments and changes daily through the Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits module and dashboards.
Monitors and inputs benefits data into Oracle HCM cloud base system and other related benefit software applications.
Maintains eligibility electronic files for the Medical Plan, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, and Cobra.
Serves as a liaison to insurance carriers regarding claim discrepancies and/or other issues concerning employee inquiries.
Escalates issues as necessary to the Director of Employee Benefits.
Participates in annual vendor negotiations and plan design sessions.
Establishes and maintains files and records pertaining to all respective programs and participants.
Updates and maintains relevant benefits information on the Company s intranet site.
Assembles employee benefit materials and completes mass mailing as needed.
Verifies insurance coverage for various health service agencies and benefit certification programs.
Verifies the calculation of the monthly billing/premium statements for all group employee benefits programs and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims, and costs.
Participates in the implementation of new or revised benefits programs, assists in developing and arranging employee benefits presentations, and conduct open enrollment meetings at the Company s various communities.
Responds to questions and requests received via the employee benefits hotline.
Prepares communications outlining and explaining benefits policies and procedures to a variety of audiences.
Works with auditing teams as needed to ensure accuracy of plan data and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
Performs quarterly user acceptance testing for Oracle s HCM Benefits module.
Process COBRA general notice and continuation requests with COBRA administration vendor.

Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or combination of equivalent education and business experience preferred.
Minimum of three to five years of employee benefits administration experience within a corporate HR/benefits environment.
Able to read, write and speak English fluently, Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems, Oracle Cloud HCM is preferred.
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
Ability to be a self-starter and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, prioritizes tasks, meet daily deadlines, and exercise good judgment.
Knowledgeable regarding health and welfare benefits and standard healthcare regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
Detail oriented and ability to work in a team setting.
Extremely strong customer service skills are required.

Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs)
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
