Candidate will perform detailed and in-depth review of various financial data with respect to Camden s properties to explain variances in results / operations. Identify opportunities to enhance net operating income. Communicate results to operational personnel and provide timely financial analysis as a management tool to end-users.
Review and evaluate monthly, quarterly and annual operating information
Prepare general ledger entries as part of month-end financial close processes including accruals and reclassifications.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual joint venture financial statements, for both internal and external users
Coordinate and prepare intercompany reimbursements and other required transfers of funds
Update and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
Implement accounting procedures by reviewing current processes and recommend changes as appropriate
Respond to internal and external audit requests
Support special projects as assigned
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Equivalent
Must have at least one year of experience in Accounting
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of advanced features in Excel desired
Strong oral and written communication skills
Accounting systems experience (Oracle Cloud or Oracle a plus)

Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
