A Day in the Life:
This role will support the Alliance team and our expanding organization. Reporting to the VP of Finance, your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and preparation of standard financial, operational and management reporting & analysis, month-end close process, budgets/forecasts and ad-hoc analysis. This is a highly visible role where you can be a key contributor creating new capabilities to support leadership decision-making in a high-energy growth environment.
What You'll Do:
Prepare reporting and analyses that identify, evaluate and communicate business and financial results, trends and outlooks for leadership and executive management
Prepare executive level reporting for senior leadership and partners
Support month-end financial close process by developing and preparing exception reporting and analysis. Research preliminary variances to budget, prior year and periodic trends, propose adjustments to accounting team, and provide explanations for final variances
Prepare ad hoc financial and business analytics. Utilize data mining techniques to perform various business modeling and analysis
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement
Assist in region and department -level budgeting and forecasting processes. Identify variances and provide insights on key drivers of actual results versus budgets and forecasts
Evaluate current processes, identify best practices and develop plans to implement improvements to tools, processes and systems
Drive insights through cross-functional partnerships across the organization
Assists with ad hoc projects and other tasks as needed
What You'll Need to Succeed:
B.A./B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
Two to four years of experience in Financial Reporting / FP&A positions required, including preparing company financial statements, budgets and business analytics
Advanced computer knowledge required, including financial and accounting systems and database applications such as Adaptive Insights, Sage, Sales Force and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex, dynamic information clearly and succinctly.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work requirements, multiple deadlines and competing demands
Ability to identify, research and resolve problems as well as present solutions to the management team.

Ability to work during normal work hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) as well as evenings and weekends.
