A Day in the Life:
As our Make Ready Supervisor you will be expected to oversee the maintaining of a luxurious appearance of the apartment units to prepare a welcoming home for our residents to move in to. The Make Ready Supervisor is responsible for managing their Associate team and all necessary equipment for the Associates. You will apply your general Make Ready knowledge to lead and train your team to uphold a luxurious environment within the community while practicing exceptional customer service skills.
What You'll Do:
Establish and manage a team of qualified and trained employees.
Responsible for rekeying locks as requested.
Maintain a safe working environment and educate employees on practicing safe procedures.
Preform corrective maintenance on common areas such as pools, spas, and laundries.
Participate on bidding and estimate process and lead rehab project.
Schedule and give access to contractors and schedule make ready service appointments.
Respond to all service requests and follow ups in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction.
Complete all duties regarding make ready/vacant units for move-in.
Prepare and inspect apartments for move-in readiness after becoming vacant.
Conduct all work in compliance of OSHA and Equal Housing Opportunity.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Become EPA/CFC and CPO certified within 90 days of employment.
Bachelor or Associates degree.
Previous multi-family work experience.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to manage and lead a team of Associates.
Complete paint requests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other make ready tasks as needed.
Ability to paint using techniques such as rolling, spraying, and brushing on a variety of surfaces.
Possess thorough knowledge on paint, drywall, and plumbing.
Ability to complete interior and exterior residential paint projects.
Experience safely working on ladders and scaffolding to perform painting job.
Ability to have flexibility with working schedule based on business and deadline needs.
Ability to work a schedule during normal work hours and that may be other than Monday- Friday, 8-5. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely.
Consistent, regular and in person attendance during regular working hours at the workplace is required.
