Our ideal candidate will have prior business intelligence and data analytics experience, Microsoft SQL and database/data cube architecture experience, data visualization experience, report writing, project management experience, data mining and modeling capabilities, as well as good written & oral communication skills. This candidate excels at critical thinking and possesses the ability to explain complex data concepts to business users. This position requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, accuracy and organizational skills while multi-tasking in a fast pace environment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with business users to design, develop, maintain, and support complex business intelligence applications and solutions
Utilize data mining techniques and develop data models to assist in the visualization and interpretation of data
Expansion of current BI platform
Maintain and build upon the current dashboards, reporting tools, and data cubes
Optimize data structures and efficiency
Documentation of Camden s data analytics and business intelligence for efficient self-serve
Analyze business opportunities to aid the company in being proactive, instead of reactive, to improve processes and strategies, reduce operational expenses (i. e., energy/utilities management, value of a customer, human capital)
Identify intelligence needs of each department through one-to-one communications with key employees
Perform ad-hoc data mining and data analysis as needed
Participate in management meetings related to business intelligence strategy
Implement the recommendations of intelligence reporting and management
Participate in, or lead, projects at discretion of executive team
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance or equivalent
Four (4) years of experience in a Data Analytics or Business Intelligence role is required
Multifamily housing /commercial real estate experience is preferred
SQL, SSRS report builder, MS Analysis Services, Power BI programming is required
Project management experience is preferred
Execllent listening, communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to drive numerous projects simultaneously
Exceptional critical thinking/problem solving skills and the ability to make confident business decisions
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Word, Excel & Outlook
