Overview:

Apply now for our opening at AMLI Park Broadway as our new Service Technician at our luxury apartment midrise in Long Beach. CA. In this role, the Service Technician helps maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds.

Duties Include:

• Perform general and higher level maintenance service such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Effectively handle drywall repairs and touch up painting. Also handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair skills. (Changing/repairing; lighting fixtures, faucets, and appliances.)
• Respond on a timely basis to resident and tenant service requests
• Be available to work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights.
• Conduct inspections as required, per policy and participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.
• Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, etc. Change A/C filters; may operate carpet cleaning equipment
• Check faucets, sink plugs and repair/replace as necessary. Replace washers when needed. Perform exterior repair to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted.
• Assist during trash-out of apartment; e.g., moving heavy/bulky items to dumpster
• Make new keys when requested. Replace vacancy lock (if applicable) on day lock is changed for new resident move-in.
• Assist with painting duties when requested. Transfer paint from storage areas to apartments when painting is scheduled. Use of ladders for painting, cleaning lighting, window cleaning etc

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training.
• On Call and weekend availability is required for on call rotation.
• HVAC Certification
