The Assistant Manager is the leader of the sales team and serves as thelink between community management and leasing efforts. As a leader, you will encourage teamwork bymotivating, developing and supporting the Leasing Consultants. An AssistantManager is responsible for providing resident relations, community bookkeepingand assisting the Community Manager with day to day operations. Our idealcandidate must demonstrate the ability to build lasting relationships and solveproblems with an out of the box approach, while continuing to support Camden inbeing an industry leader.

EssentialFunctions:

• Collaborate with Community Manager in creating goals to betterserve our customers, maximize performance and surpass our competitors
• Utilize and establish creative marketing and social media strategies to increaseproperty traffic
• Serves as a leader forthe leasing consultants by applying creative sales strategies to motivate theteam and reach occupancy goals
• Manage the sales processfrom start to finish by selling the value of the community features as theyrelate to customer needs
• Maintain resident ledgersincluding posting rent payments and issuing charges, concessions and finalaccount statements
• Initiate all necessarylease violations, late rent notices and evictions as needed
• Performs leasingactivities including generating traffic, following up on leads, touring thecommunity and closing sales
• Monitor closing ratios,community leads and ensure accuracy of lease paperwork
• Oversees the preparationof weekly market surveys of comparable and/or competing properties
• Generate pricing forrenewal offers and manage the renewal process
• Use exceptional multi-tasking skills to streamline processesand effectively manage daily tasks ofthe sales team
• Collaborate with teammembers to plan and organize resident events
• Create and maintainexcellent ongoing relationships withpotential and current residents
• Use problem solvingskills and best judgement to handle unpredictable situations as they arise
• May be required to assist in other projectsand activities as needed

• Bachelor s degree preferred
• One year of leasing experience in residentialproperty management; supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidaysas required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel &Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in thisposition
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability tolead and motivate others
• Must possess professional written and verbalcommunication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Jobis intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i. e., climb stairs) to tour,show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
• Willuse some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing

• Worksin a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e.,heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community
• Hazardscan be avoided with proper lifting techniques, SDS and general safety training
• Willbe regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (includingweekends)
• Positionrequires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
• Mayrequire airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
