The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role coaches and consults with leaders to achieve business strategies by focusing on team member performance, talent management, organizational effectiveness, culture, and diversity & inclusion. The HRBP will work across all levels of the organization and serve as a trusted partner to leadership providing expert guidance regarding all aspects of human resources, including administration of Company policies and programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provides expert guidance regarding the interpretation of federal, state and local laws pertaining to all aspects of human resources. Assists in responses to EEOC and DOL charges and other related issues.

• Provides policy and procedure interpretation for leaders and team members regarding human resources issues and advises as to the appropriate course of action. Counsels and advocates for team members with problems and complaints.

• Lead talent management activities and workforce planning to ensure a strong and diverse pipeline of talent for the organization.

• Provide leadership coaching and support team effectiveness efforts with client group.

• Support change management and team member engagement efforts.

• Build strong relationships with both team members and business leaders across the organization.

• Monitors and coordinates team member relation issues, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and EEO matters with Company leaders ensuring resolution is achieved in an effective and timely manner.

• Proposes and develops progressive programs for the purpose of increasing team member engagement and satisfaction with the Company and to reduce turnover.

• Recommends and assists in development and deployment of appropriate training and education programs based on need identified through interaction and counseling sessions with leaders and team members.

• Participates in the development of Company-wide HR driven team member communications.

• Assists in the corporate merger and acquisition process, participating in due diligence activities and onboarding components as necessary.

• Maintains familiarity with all benefits programs to include, but not limited to, health and welfare, 401(k), PTO, and Greystar Giving, in order to accurately communicate and provide resolution to team member issues and questions.

• Leverages systems, tools, technologies and other resources to provide administrative support to the department as needed, may act as a liaison between team members and other HR personnel in obtaining information, as well as the accurate completion and collection of mandated documentation to ensure compliance with government regulated guidelines and timelines.
