A Day in the Life of a Regional IT Support Coordinator:
As a Lincoln Military Housing Regional IT Support Coordinator , you will be responsible for the overall IT operations of a portfolio of multi-family residential communities and supporting the organization's networks, computers, phone systems, printers, faxes, scanners, network storage, and related equipment. You will also administer centralized applications such as Active Directory, DNS, Yardi, Payscan, and assist in departmental projects and other tasks as assigned. Your customer service skills will be very important in this role, with the ability to deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Lincoln Military Housing's quality customer satisfaction standards.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Tier-1/Tier-2 on-site and remote support of Windows-based infrastructure: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, 2012.
Servicing approximately 15 offices within the region, including support to ISP/Telephone vendor/circuit management, PC/Printer/Fax/Scanner/NAS/Server Administration & Management, annual IT budgeting for each location.Respond to general IT inquiries, answer questions, create tickets & troubleshoot issues, route calls/emails/tickets accordingly.
Monitoring and maintaining CRM ticket queue.
Maintain daily operational support for region's network infrastructure and domain environment including but not limited to: Gateway/Firewalls, IP Topologies, VPN tunnels, Switching/Routing, Active Directory, Print Server, Group Policy, DNS, WSUS, ADMT, WBADMIN standards across 5,000+ node network.
Troubleshoot end user PC, printer, scanner, fax, telephone, shared drives, peripheral IT equipment and software applications.
Via phone and remote desktop connection, walk customers through problem solving processes. Provide on-site support.
Remote & local OS/software installations.
Maintain Active Directory and administer changes.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our national layout of branch office setup and LAN topologies.
Tier-3 support for escalated issues involving PCs, Servers, NAS devices, Printers, Faxes, Scanners, ISPs, Telephony.
Plan, test and execute scheduled and ad-hoc system changes while documenting and maintaining the infrastructure baseline.
Configure and install client operating systems, printers, fax machines, telephone system applications.
Telephony administration & troubleshooting.
Troubleshoots and resolves or escalates service requests.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need For Success:
A minimum of 2+ years of related work experience as IT/Systems/Network support including Windows PC/Server/Domain administration and VPN technologies.
BS Degree or related field of study preferred.
Multifaceted IT background with proven ability to hyper-task with daily operations while concurrently progressing short- and long-term projects.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Excellent customer service & communication skills. As the dispatched IT Technician, exceptional understanding of each issue along with the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical people is a must.
Must be able to multi-task, balance and prioritize multiple issues at multiple locations.
Self-motivated. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Daily local travel 80%, Overnight Travel 10%.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
