As a Revenue Management Analyst with Gables, you will be surrounded by the best in the business and will be working as a team towards a common goal. The role works closely with the operations and asset management groups, relying heavily on trust, strong personal relationships and consistently providing accurate and reliable information through sound processes and procedures. The revenue management team uses solid practices in decision making and is responsible for the on-going pricing and financial performance of multi-family real estate under management. The role requires thought leadership, strategy evaluation, profit maximization and loss limitation.
You will build relationships with internal partners, including senior management, Operations VPs and RMs, the revenue management team, and on-site community managers. You will be relied upon to provide business trend insights, charged with helping to evaluate property performance, tasked with helping to develop asset strategies and challenged with overseeing Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
You will be part of a very influential team as a Revenue Management Analyst and will have the unique opportunity of both thinking big strategy and evaluating small details as you help us to uphold our mission of Taking Care of the Way People Live.
Assist in the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual trends and forecast reports;
Review monthly and quarterly financial statements and evaluate variances and trends in operating income (relative to Gables as well as competitors);
Assist in the preparation and review of reports that provide insight into monthly/quarterly market performance; monthly/quarterly property performance (variance reporting), annual strategic reviews;
Provide analytical and business intelligence support to the revenue management team and Ops leadership;
Evaluate pricing strategy alternatives;
Review and monitor pricing compliance;
Develop and/or utilize financial models and software;
Generate adhoc reports;
Manage processes and maintain integrity of ad hoc projects and reporting.

Education BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Real Estate, or related field.
Professional Experience A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in multi-family real estate and/or revenue management is preferred.
Attendance and Travel The position is exempt from overtime and may entail working hours as needed to perform the position requirements satisfactorily. The position is scheduled for a typical 40-hour workweek, however portfolio/regional demands may be great and the associate should expect to potentially work significantly more hours.
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually
A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all of the job's functions.
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet applications) such as Power Pivot. Knowledge of DAX, M, and/or SQL desired.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Time Management/Organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work assignments to consistently meet critical work deadlines
Team Building - ability to develop good working relationships with others
