Job Title: Segment Development Manager, Multi-Dwelling Units

We are looking for the right person to fill an opening for a Segment Development Manager, MDU. Idea candidates will be located near a major airport and/or an Axis Experience Center or office in the US.
To generate awareness and demand for Axis and 2N products and Axis influenced IP solution segments within the Intercom/MDU Segment and all associated sub-segments through relationships and networking with all customers, such that the end result is growth relative to Axis’ business goals.
What you’ll do here as;
Identify and develop comprehensive segment strategy for approaching the Commercial Intercom market with specific focus on expanding Axis’ position in the Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) market. This includes understanding the total market potential, key markets and key end customers in the segment.
Nurture and develop Total Solution based concepts and strategies to meet Segment End User needs based upon our core technologies and partner technologies, existing and undeveloped.
Look beyond physical security solutions and define operational ROI solutions for the segment
Develop concise and focused solutions and strategies across all sub-segments of the Intercom/MDU vertical.
Maintain and grow End User relationships with solution-based focus built upon the strategic objectives and business initiatives
Develop and provide guidance for key ADP teaming relationships
Expand key vertical based NSI relationships
Work with the various Axis sales teams to help them develop business in the Intercom/MDU segment
Intercom/MDU specific marketing event participation
Assist with supporting Intercom/MDU prime integrator and Global Solution Integrator relationships
Identify and deliver on Public Speaking and Press Opportunities/Engagements to include developing abstracts pertinent to the Intercom/MDU customer base.
Government and Industry Association regulation and Strategy Guidance for the Intercom/MDU sector
Provide Intercom/MDU segments guidance for marketing publications
Product guidance to the Americas and Globally specific to Intercom/MDU needs and initiatives
Management of Intercom/MDU technology directives relevant to Axis products
Project SME guidance to the Sales Organization and other BDSS teams on complex, Intercom/MDU projects and initiatives
Provide monthly reporting on opportunities and efforts to Management
Identify New markets and innovative solutions in the Intercom/MDU space within and outside of physical security for IP devices and solutions developed by Axis and its partners
Who are we looking for?
Vast network of end customer and consultant relationships across the entire Americas Head Region.
Expertise in IT solutions, IT System architecture and IP based enterprise security and IP based operational solutions (enhancing business operations, efficiency and customer experience)
Experience with and on association boards for standards in Intercom/MDU IP based solutions
Multiple years developing business and business channels for Enterprise IT solutions and programs to the Intercom/MDU segment and it’s sub-segments
Strong knowledge of applying complex integrated solutions to solve segment customer needs and developing development program to train sales force and channel how to position and win business.
Strong past work history and relationships within security and IT professionals groups. Ideally, in the Intercom/MDU sector
Enterprise Sales Skills (SPIN, Miller Heiman, etc. valued but not required)
Strong Technical Skills
Strong Leadership and or Coaching skills and training
Knowledge of Marketing avenues, specific to vertical
Contract review and interpretation
C- level Influencer
Fluent in public speaking and presentation
Self-motivated team player
We'd love to hear that you have:
10+ years’ experience as Security Professional within the Intercom/MDU space, Industry Consultant, or working with a Security Products Manufacturer or Integrator that specialize in IT based Enterprise Solutions for the Intercom/MDU vertical
Public Speaking, participation on IT Professional boards/associations and Press/PR experience, ideally in the Intercom/MDU space.
Established professional EU and partner network within the IT industry and Intercom/MDU segment
