Role Overview
This role (and team) is a service role that supports the business segments in achieving their respective strategic objectives and the commercial growth of Greystar globally.
The Senior Director, Digital, is responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise on owned digital media across Greystar's expanding portfolio of products and services ensuring activities, initiatives and practices are scaled to meet business needs and executed in line with Greystar's global standards.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Planning
*Engage with lines of business to set a vision for evolving the digital footprint to deliver to Greystar's growing portfolio of products and services.
*Define the roadmap for Greystar.com and corporate social media, solicit input from and share plan with business stakeholders
*Engage with lines of business to understand their needs, prioritize requests based on effort and value, and integrate into the overall roadmap
*Regularly partner with, present to and report to leadership and stakeholders on strategies, plans, insights and findings
*Manage Digital team budget, including both operating and capital expenses ensuring optimal investment levels
*Participate in the annual business planning processes, including tracking and evaluating the required resources to execute on consumer insights and brand initiatives
Project Management
*Define and lead strategic projects in support of the overall vision and roadmap for Greystar digital
*Optimize our current website, including hosting, back-end technology, content, usability/accessibility, and compliancy, including oversight of uptime, issue resolution, and content change requests from around the business
*Refine and implement best practices for project management processes, including project intake, governance, and tools
*Collaborate with other teams within Greystar for design and content creation as required
*Collaborate with IT teams to ensure back-end technology and hosting is optimized and meets applicable standards
Team Leadership
*Lead the team responsible for the maintenance and evolution of our website - Greystar.com - and our corporate social media
*Build and cultivate a high-performance team across multiple countries through fostering a culture and attitude of innovation, continuous improvement, forward thinking, and development of talent
Vendor/Partner Oversight
*Identify and engage strategic partners and vendors to support both large initiatives and ongoing operations of Greystar.com and owned social media ensuring optimal investment levels
*Serve as relationship lead for agencies and vendors
Qualifications
Functional
*Ability to think strategically while identifying areas of optimization for our digital footprint
*8+ years of experience in digital including (but not limited to) website management & development, hosting and back-end systems, UI/UX strategy and design, product management and social media
*Strong experience in optimizing website infrastructure, usability and content to meet the needs of diverse business stakeholders in multiple countries
*Extensive experience of software used to drive and execute on sales and marketing activities, i.e. Salesforce, Web & Digital Marketing Tools
*Excellent working knowledge of Sitecore, ideally having implemented global platforms using this tool previously
*Financially literate and experienced in owning capital expense and operating expense budgets
*Experience in a leadership role, leading a team of direct reports and external agency partners (e.g., hosting, development, design)
*Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred

*Comfortable managing multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-paced business environment
*Demonstrated success collaborating, partnering and influencing at all levels and across all functions of an organization
*Experience in communicating to and influencing senior executives - ability to distill complex topics into an easy-to-understand summary

JOB DESCRIPTION
Preference for this role to sit in Dallas, Tampa, Charleston or Washington, D.C., however will consider Remote candidates.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
