Founded in 1967, the Apartment Association of Tarrant County (AATC) is a 501(c)6 professional association representing the business interests of multifamily housing owners, managers, and related vendor-partners throughout a 9-county region of north-central Texas. AATC is a closely affiliated partner with the Texas Apartment Association in Austin, Texas and the National Apartment Association in Alexandria, Virginia. During the past 50-plus years, AATC has grown to include over 1,800 members providing management and related services supporting residents living in over 230,000 apartment homes spread across Erath, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise counties. AATC is known as an innovative industry leader providing exceptional professional education curricula, effective advocacy initiatives, concise communication mediums, and unique business networking opportunities designed to support and encourage its members.
AATC seeks a strategic and effective association executive to serve as the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Association. He/She will report to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors in the discharge of all duties including the coordination of the annual business plan and budget, long-term planning, organizational structure, and procedures. The Executive Director will participate in Board formulation of the Association's mission, goals, objectives, and related policies and, within that framework, will manage and coordinate controls, direct staff, programs, and the activities of the Association.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's or advanced degree a plus. CAE certification or significant progress towards CAE certification is strongly preferred. At least five years of CEO or senior-level management experience in the association sector. Other commensurate experience may be considered.
