Manages the quality assurance and quality control of the manufactured products of Modern Living Solutions to ensure products meet Company standards and achieve market-leading quality.
1. Implements methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products, procedures, production processes, and production equipment. Enforces quality standards to ensure products adhere to quality standards. 2. Develops, implements, and maintains company Quality Control manual. 3. Develops workflows for product quality inspections and implements QA/QC standard operating procedures as part of the manufacturing process. 4. Determines critical quality control KPIs. 5. Oversees and manages production staff in production practices related to quality control of manufacturing practices. 6. Tracks products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct and proposes improvements to the production process. 7. Performs detailed and recorded inspections of WIP and final products to ensure the products are up to industry and Company standards by using industry-appropriate methods. 8. Determines the reason for defects, understands the causes of defects, and provides and implements solutions to resolve identified issues. Resolves production methods that results in sub-standard products. 9. Works closely with Operations Manager, Design team, and Supply Chain Manager to identify potential quality issues and concerns before they arise during production. 10. Maintains product and process data base and prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. 11. Tracks and meets deadlines for the delivery of products. 12. Coordinates quality control programs with Program Manager to ensure compliance with local codes and construction conditions in the markets which the Company develops and constructs projects in to conduct design reviews and construction inspections.
13. Ensures compliance with the Company's safety standards and applicable codes and other legal and regulatory requirements. Stays informed about relevant codes, ordinances, and permit requirements. Prepares and/or submits required documentation and other information to appropriate business leaders and agencies.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
