The Product Management Digital Lead will be expected to be a champion of the customer experience and voice and leverage analytics to inform the product roadmap. This person will lead technology development and delivery through the development and maintenance of a product roadmap for internally built and configured technology assets. The lead will manage and coach Product Owners, Designers, and Business analysts to continue driving development of our in-house CRM, Resident App, Property Websites, and future technology assets.
We are looking for a strong communicator and influencer who is passionate about software product development and customer experience. You should be excited about defining a vision, proactively clearing roadblocks, and leading an energetic and diverse team.
Essential Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Management: Owns and prioritizes the long-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all are aligned. Identifies, prioritizes, and shares items on the technology backlog with Technical and Business stakeholders. Collaborates closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to develop a combined Business and Technology roadmap and understand and make tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer expereince of the products.
Performance Management: You'll define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the products and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, while adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates. Partner with the Analytics teams to develop the dashboards required to track performance for various audiences.
Stakeholder Management: You will be the primary voice of the product team and understanding how to deliver the message and vision of agile product software delivery to various audiences is key. You will provide updates to senior leaders across various functions on the digital roadmap and progress, while also sharing the vision and providing direction to the tech team.
Team Management: Manages and supports the digital product team including product owners, designers, and business analysts including management of HR processes (e.g., annual reviews and compensation). You'll be responsible for attracting and retaining top talent to your team and mentoring and developing team members.
Organizational Responsibilities:
- Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
- Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs, researching and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal, financial, and human resource documents as well as presentations for senior leadership
- Demonstrated proficiency in common productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Agile delivery tools (Azure DevOps)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Software Delivery Lifecycle including Scrum/Agile, Digital Product Roadmap Development, project management and dependency mapping, and UI/UX guidance.
- Experience managing team members across a range of functional areas of expertise
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of digital / technology experience preferred
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
