As a Leasing Manager you will oversee the entire leasing function and daily leasing operations for the community.
Directly supervises, trains and motivates the leasing consultants and helps facilitate the successful development of the leasing office; assist the Community Manager in the selection process for all new leasing team members
Responsible for collaborating with property team to ensure the successful marketing leasing, and financial operation of the community
Assist the on-site team in marketing all units, determining leasing problems, offering solutions to vacancies and re-marketing the property to current residents; generates new business contacts, marketing ideas, and competitive shops to increase occupancy
Participates in all leasing functions for the community, including touring prospective residents, qualifying prospects and preparing lease paperwork, review and approval of all lease files, lease renewals, and other leasing and marketing duties as needed to ensure the community meets and maintains leasing and occupancy goals.
Three (3+) years of multi-family leasing experience
Previous Leasing Manager experience a plus
Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
Demonstrated customer service mindset
Yardi Voyager,MS Office Word/Excel experience and strong computer technology skills
Professional demeanor and strong communication and presentation skills
Work Schedule: Will normally work a Monday-Friday schedule (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm) with rotating weekends; (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property)
