Responsible for supporting day to day activities and point of escalation for any questions or concerns that may arise
Extract pertinent and critical data from Real Estate Lease documents and generate Rent Memo to formalize and authorize updates to database
Ensure that the accounting process is properly set up in database.
Perform final quality review of lease and sublease data abstraction to ensure accuracy. Verify and sign off on the quality of lease abstracts via a lease audit checklist
Review database ensuring all data is current, accurately classified and reviewed for quality assurance
Must possess ability to produce accurate rent roll for both tenants and subtenants. This includes the confirmation of rent changes and the development of month over month variance analysis, special handling requests, and all necessary steps to ensure the proper monthly payments to landlords
Review rent statements to validate recurring and non-recurring charges and facilitate updates to database as required. Ensure that all local charges are properly made by the applicable branch
Assist as necessary to ensure that Tenant Improvement Allowances are properly tracked and collected
Perform desk audits of annual operating expense statements to ensure all expenses are consistent with the terms of the lease. Bill out to subtenants the proportionate share of expenses
Manage sublease agreements including subtenant billing, aged receivables and proactive collection of past due rents
Support the forecast process
Assist as necessary on all actions and options. Collaborate with transaction team to ensure that all actions and options are addressed, and notice dates are met
Timely and accurate delivery of all standard and ad hoc reporting
Outline/oversee continuous updates to the process playbook
Recommend new approaches, policies, procedures to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies
Review business terms of Estoppel Certificates, SNDA Agreements to ensure business terms are accurately reflected.
Perform standard processes established for client and will participate in providing suggestions for continued improvement and streamlining of procedures
Participate in client meetings
Involved in fostering client relationships
Requirements
BA/BS degree required preferably in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related business areas.
2 to 7 yearsâ™ experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of internal client service
Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence on various software, databases, analytical tools, including Microsoft Office Suite as well as superior knowledge and skill using Excel
Excellent analytical and organizational skills are required
Self-starter capable of working independently and organizing workflow to meet changing priorities and deadlines
Able to create detailed financial and analytical reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
Able to effectively present information and analysis and respond to questions from groups of managers and internal clients
Position is located in Weehawken, NJ a minimum of 2 days per week and remote for the other days
