Job Description Summary
The primary role of the Manager is to contribute to and manage portfolio and workplace strategy projects, conduct data gathering and analysis for clients. The Manager will be a Tri-State Total Workplace point of contact to our internal and external clients and assist in sales efforts working in conjunction with fee earners and strategic consulting leaders. The Manager will also interact with clients and their employeesâ™ leading teams that conduct workplace strategy diagnostic efforts which include: surveys, focus groups, interviews and utilization studies. The Manager will develop workplace strategy recommendations and will partner with brokers and management to present findings and recommendations to the client.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
â¢Â   With senior team member or fee earner help develop Requests for Information (RFI) documents. Participate in team sales presentations
â¢Â   Manage strategy projects from scope definition to delivery. With senior team member, develop and communicate project hypotheses and conclusions. Create project schedules, activities, resource plans and final reports.
â¢Â   Develop and generate new business through client networking opportunities
â¢Â   Participate as needed in the research and development of white papers and industry reports.
â¢Â   Look for and make recommendations to apply new workplace industry tools/technology to current projects
â¢Â   Coordination of workplace design, change management and technology best practices and solutions with the clientâ™s culture, business and people
â¢Â   Synthesize the output gained from floor plans, occupancy data, technology assumptions, observations, surveys, interviews and focus groups into opportunities and recommendations for client presentation materials including people, place, technology recommendations and space metrics
â¢Â   Oversee and participate in the development and presentation of materials and ensure the final product is succinct and delivers a powerful message.
â¢Â   Project manage engagements from start to finish, coordinating various work streams, assigning project work and managing client expectations to ensure timely project delivery
â¢Â   Occasional travel, estimated at 15% at client needs dictate.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
â¢Â   Bachelorâ™s degree in design, organizational development/psychology, or related field preferred. Masters preferred.
â¢Â   4-8 years consulting experience with focus on portfolio and workplace strategy, or change management
â¢Â   Track record of managing multiple client projects from scope definition to delivery
â¢Â   Development of client reports and work product synthesizing qualitative outputs. Communicating, presenting and discussing analytical insights to clients and internal partners. Sharing feedback and outcomes with internal teams
â¢Â   Knowledge and effective use of problem-solving skills
â¢Â   Exposure to change management and customer experience initiatives preferred.
â¢Â   Hi EQ with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with a variety of stakeholders from diverse cultures as well as facilitate collaboration
â¢Â   Exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects, keeping all team members informed of progress and issues
â¢Â   Strong knowledge and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of Power BI.
â¢Â   Superior writing skills that create professional presentations and reports to ensure the final product is succinct and delivers a powerful message. Participate in the development of presentation materials and for client presentations ensure presentations are clear, address client questions and goals
â¢Â   Effective communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge to effectively influence clients. Very comfortable speaking with and in front of clients.
â¢Â   Excellent time management, organizational and qualitative analytical skills

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidateâ™s experience and qualifications.
