This position is responsible for the main phone line and email inboxes for our department. In addition, this position is responsible for accepting payments from outstanding balances from residents after they move out of an apartment home. Additional responsibilities may also include partnering directly with communities on various issues, as well as reviewing resident and/or collection files for proper documentation and verifying all documentation is accurate and complete to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and departmental policies/guidelines.
1. â¯â¯ â¯Receives inbound calls, emails and voicemails from residents and communities. Makes outbound calls and emails to former resident(s) with outstanding balances and collects payments and directs calls when disputing.Â Â
2.â¯â¯ â¯Responds promptly to former resident(s) inquiries according to level of urgency and properly records detail of actions taken.Â
3.â¯â¯ â¯Verifies accuracy of charges on move out balance, research inconsistencies, and makes any necessary corrections per the lease agreement.Â
4.â¯â¯ â¯Maintains accuracy of resident personal demographic and confidential information (e.g., names, addresses, DOB, social security numbers, etc.); ensures compliance with any/all applicable contract terms, company policies and/or state/federal laws.Â
5.â¯â¯ â¯Communicates and coordinates with other internal departments as necessary.Â
6.â¯â¯ â¯Completes projects, tasks, assignments, and other work that is unique to the department, follows departmental policies and procedures, and meet standards, metrics, and other benchmarks used within the department for evaluating performance and results.Â
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
