About the Role
The Facilities Coordinator role is responsible for managing the building and equipment maintenance schedules, physical space and experience of the people within a given asset or portfolio. This role will support the Senior Facilities Manager in the delivery of facilities management services at BHP Perth. The position will support the contractual requirements and statutory and regulatory obligations of the site on a day-to-day basis.
What You Will Be Doing
- The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Facilities function within the site operations including management of the Facilities Coordinator on-site
- Provides technical Facilities Management support & experience, and has the practical skills and training for the relevant assets
- Responsible for supporting the key performance indicators for the BHP contract
- Participate as required in monthly meetings with the landlord
- Monitor, action and maintain work orders in Famis360
- Implement and monitor routine tasks (reactive works) and ensure timely completion of all activities including escalations
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance activities to ensure timely completion as well as amendment / update of annual schedules as required
- Respond, action, and follow through all client requests
- Provide input and seek support from Asset Management, Health & Safety, Security and Environment teams for compliance with Australian standard requirements
- Assist with contractual reporting
- Participate and contribute in client governance meetings
- Conduct supplier performance meetings & benchmark service level agreements
- Conduct employee performance reviews & performance discussions as required
- Deliver Safety training within the contract as required

- Experience in a similar facility coordination/workplace services role
- Experience in meeting client needs within agreed timelines
- Effective communicator and able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage team members effectively providing ongoing support
