Position Summary:
Under direct supervision an IT Project Manager II manages department and cross department projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, engage vendors, manage budgets and monitor/summarize progress of project. Prepare and maintain reports for upper management regarding status of project. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops multiple aspects of a project plan related to a specific aspect of the project.
Assists in the allocation of resources to complete project objectives.
Participates in development of project plans, including the expected outcomes, risks, contingency plans, and required resources for the project.
Identifies more critical activities in the project plan and adjusts priorities when appropriate.
Assists in the development of presentations to key stakeholders.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorâ™s degree in related field or 6-8 yearsâ™ experience in field or related area.
Proven 3-5 years of working experience as a project manager in business.
