Job Description
What Will I Be Doing? Â
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:Â Â
Facility ServicesÂ
Maintain overall facility management services to ensure maintenance of the facilities and grounds, and provision of associated services, is executed in a manner consistent with the Clientâ™s and Firmâ™s standard processes and professional brand image and compliant with applicable local laws, rules and regulations. Â

The Facility Services Supervisor will supervise the activities of the C&W Services personnel, HVAC, maintenance, janitorial contractors. This individual must exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills and ensure that facility maintenance services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner. This individual should have the ability to establish trusting relationships, and effectively manage multiple external and internal needs for the client and firm. Â
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
Responsible for leadership, direction, and performance of all assigned site maintenance and services activities. Â
Supervise C&W Services technical staff on all work and can provide hands-on assistance as necessary. Â
Coordinate and schedule vendors who may include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, janitorial, etc. Direct 3rd party and Agency activities and ensure compliance with contractual obligationsÂ
Oversight of all processes ensuring conformance to federal, provincial, and local regulations, and conformance with company and customer policiesÂ
Ensure Safety First and is a significant consideration in all activities including customer relations, policy implementation / enforcement, budget preparation and cost controlÂ
Manage and lead quality control, maintenance process development and compliance, and other account administrative functions as necessaryÂ
Must always demonstrate good judgment when making decisions affecting the companyâ™s businessÂ
Ensure that all work performed under his/her supervision is done in a timely and cost-effective manner according to the applicable codesÂ
Effectively communicate in person, and electronically to relay complex information to all partiesÂ
Develop and effectively manage site budgetÂ
Produce monthly financial and operational reports and additional reports as requestedÂ
Coordinate in building budget forecasts and make recommendations based on spending trendsÂ
Ensure that EHS procedures are being implemented and issues are being resolved through the direction of both the Clientâ™s and Firmâ™s EHS representativesÂ
Assist with the development and execution of the accountâ™s strategic plansÂ
Respond to customer satisfaction surveys requiring follow-up, and develop and execute corrective action plans as requiredÂ
Build and manage relationships with the Site Leadership and Business Unit managers to ensure their needs are metÂ
Interact with customer and client personnel to determine and meet customer/client expectationsÂ
Coordinate activities to ensure effective and efficient performance in all activities to minimize disruption and impact to building occupantsÂ
Assist in the development of long-range planning in support of the Clientâ™s goals and objectivesÂ
Maintain positive customer relations by being flexible to meet the needs and demands of a constantly changing work environmentÂ
Complete and oversee other duties as directedÂ
Warehouse Â
Employee must be able to work with personnel in a team-oriented and safety conscious environment. âœSafety Firstâ expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures. Â
Know SAP for creation of shopping carts, SES, track POâ™s, receive goods, etc. Â
Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from all couriers, freight, and delivery services. Â
Check and inspect all shipments for damage and shortages before receiving. Â
Compare manufacturer part number with computer inventory system description (CMMS) and PO to ensure receipt of correct part. Â
Record the purchase order number, the vendor's name, the items, and the addressee on the receiver log every day for each and every package. Â
Coordinate return shipments to vendor if a wrong part is received or if there is a stock overage, verify with supervisor prior to returning Â
Ensure all parts are placed in the correct storage location Â
If parts ordered through PO for a work order, ensure a âœjob kitâ is created and that all parts from the PO go to the same kit and kit location Â
Parts returned from kitted work orders should be returned to stock or to vendor. Verify with supervisor Â
Parts removed from equipment should be prepared for shipping as soon as possible. These items will be tracked on a spreadsheet Â
Do pickups of outgoing shipments as necessary Â
Operates equipment such as the forklift truck, cart, hand truck, and other material handling equipment. Â
Perform job kitting and ensure that all parts are identified and kitted for the scheduled work Contributes to team effort. Â
Other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisionÂ
Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. Â
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning. Â
Communications with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the companyâ™s goals and objectives Â
Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment. Â
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Â
Accurate administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting, work order completion, job planning, ordering materials, workload assessment and up-date / review maintenance management system (CMMS). Â
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations. Â
Work with Supervisor and Planner to ensure all jobs are kitted and ready for completion. Â
Allocate resources as required, coordinate shutdowns, contact vendors for plant and maintenance requirements.Â
