Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: â¢Â Â Â Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures â¢Â Â Â Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation â¢Â Â Â Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more â¢Â Â Â Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility â¢Â Â Â Track and store department inventory
Basic Qualifications: â¢Â Â Â High school diploma or equivalentÂ â¢Â Â Â 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controlsÂ â¢Â Â Â 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipmentÂ â¢Â Â Â 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance proceduresÂ â¢Â Â Â 1+ years of metal and wood fabricationÂ â¢Â Â Â 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic readingÂ â¢Â Â Â 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
Preferred Qualifications: â¢Â Â Â Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldÂ â¢Â Â Â 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldÂ â¢Â Â Â Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standardsÂ â¢Â Â Â Project Management experienceÂ â¢Â Â Â Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Â â¢Â Â Â Experience with robotic operation and maintenanceÂ â¢Â Â Â Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functionsÂ
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Â The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment
Must have ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required PPE, which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face shield, and composite-toed shoes.
Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment
Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day
Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
Regularly required to use a computer for 1-2 hours per day
